Dear Sir,
WAR ON DRUGS
Barry Stephen (Letters, 8 September) asks for evidence for my assertion that "we are winning the war on drugs" (Letters, 5 September).
I was merely repeating what we have been told by countless politicians and senior police officers over the last twenty years. Surely they can be trusted to be neither mistaken nor lieing?
