LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Sir,

TERRORISM

I can well understand why those Moslems recently accused of a terrorist plot might think that they were unlikely to get a fair trial - especially if presided over by a white public school Anglican judge with an all white jury.

So, why not allow them to be tried by fellow Moslems under the Sharia Law that we are told the Moslem community craves?

If credible evidence against them exists, conviction and sentencing by their peers would do much to prove that UK Moslems have no sympathy with terrorists.

As a former Church Elder, I feel sure that, whilst Liberals might find a death sentence not to their taste, the majority of Britons of whatever colour or creed would support this if it led to a safer and a truly multi-cultural society.

Sincerely,

John Eoin Douglas
