LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Dear Sir,
Much of the opposition to Army reform in Scotland seems to be the loss of the distinctive uniforms worn by the various Regiments.
May I offer a modest proposal? Individual soldiers should be allowed to pick and choose from the existing range of uniforms. This would not only save money, as existing supplies could continue to be used, but would give our boys a varied and interesting appearance.
Sincerely,
John Eoin Douglas
