If Libya's major export was carrots rather than oil, Mr Megrahi would still be enjoying free accommodation in a Scottish gaol.
For all the concerted international mumbling and moaning about justice, money is the real driver of the New World Order and we really should not be surprised at current events.

That's a bit cynical. MacAskill did it for compassionate grounds. And why do you pick on carrots for your example ? The convention is normally potatoes.
